This wine is sourced from Bendigo as opposed to the home of the winery which is the Yarra Valley.
It is starting to show its age with some slight browning towards the rim of the glass. The nose gives aged Shiraz characters of plum and leather, however there is a substantial hit of vanillin oak that provides a little too much competition for the fruit. The wine is medium to full bodied with stewed plum and touch of blackcurrant, tannins are well integrated and soft, with overt oak taking over on the finish.
