2010 Toolangi Reserve Shiraz

The 2010 Toolangi Reserve Shiraz takes all the is good with the Yarra and Estate release and takes it to the next level, the dark fruited nose has a smokey savouriness that is both aromatic and engaging as the interplay between whole bunch inputs and fruit evolves with time in the glass.

The palate is very Rhone like in the minerality and touch of iodine which is well matched by dark plum and cherry. The finish follows a similar vein to the palate with grainy tannins providing mouthfeel and accentuating the wines length, attractive baking spices linger alongside the dark fruits.
