A value release here with the winery doing the cellaring prior to release, the nose enjoys a core of blackberry and plum with cedar and leather backed by bracken and spice.
The wine has a tannin and acid profile to go for decades with a savoury edge to finely toned blackberry fruit, there is a generosity of spice that defines the mid palate before a driving length of peppery dark berry fruits with top notes of mocha to finish.
