The bead is fine, and the quality of the base wine undeniably good. The nose is awash with plum, earth, leather and savoury spice.
The win is fruit driven, with a sullen savoury side that is lifted by both bubble and gentle spice. Complex, layered with an interplay of generous fruit and the bold impact of American oak. The alcohol is carried effortlessly.
