A very good year in McLaren Vale, with pleasing aromatics of blueberry and plum that enjoy a lick of new oak. It’s not often i describe a wine from McLaren Vale as ‘pretty’ but it seems like the appropriate descriptor to do this wine justice, it comes in part from the seamless integration of rich primary fruits and generous but svelte oak induced spice. The finish lingers with creamy milk chocolate and a melange of dark fruits. A bargain for the price.
