A dusting of cedar oak works with blackberry and plum on the nose with some peppery notes in the background.
There is a density of dark berry fruits that are wrapped in milk chocolate with earthen flare and some charcouterie notes giving plenty of interest. Tannins are drying and frame the wine, the finish is fruit dominant and well handled acidity affords good length.
The wine is true to it’s regional roots and great value choice.
