A good color with a touch of reduction on the nose with earthen plum and a touch of bramble on the nose. There is sweetness of fruit in the plum spectrum that is contrasted by grainy tannins and sweetness of confected oak. A savoury thread adds some dimension to finish with a bit of sweet and sour between acid and oak.
