A big wine, suiting the label and size of bottle. The nose has charred oak and, baking herbs and black fruits with the cooler tones characteristic of the cooler 2017 vintage. A big wine, mainly when it comes to oak with smoke and char overshadowing plum fruit, sage gives a herbaceous kick to the mid palate with an earthen, smokey finish.
