A nose with some old world funk set against driving plum and black cherry. The palate is supple, richly fruited and works well within a framework of fine but impactful tannin and soft acidity; fresh earth and faint spice give plenty of interest to the finish as they weave themselves amongst supple black fruits. A great value buy.
