The wine speaks of the temperate climate the grapes were grown with blackberry and violets expressive on the nose, but taking on a savoury and peppery aspect on the palate. Tannins are fine with a graphite edge and combine well with a taut line of acidity that keeps things focused and fresh. The wine is decidedly medium bodied and will reward time.
