An inky, almost purple deep red in the glass. A classical representation of McLaren Vale with textured black fruits supported by milk chocolate, faint spice and understated bramble. There is a tar and roses character to the wine that highlights an understated savouriness and depth. Plum and ripe blackberry bring things home with generosity and length.
