2018 Star Lane Shiraz

Concentrated yet pretty aromatics on the nose which be a hard tightrope to walk; plum and blackberry are the star with oak playing second fiddle alongside some faint but enjoyable graphite notes.

Medium to full bodied with blackberry and plum at the wines core; dark cocoa some charcuterie notes give dimension and contrast whilst being wrapped in a web of drying but fine tannins. Dark berry fruits are joined by tar and roses before expansive dark berry fruits take over on the long finish.
