A glossy deep red in the glass, a nose of ripe blackberry and plum with the influence of oak giving a malty chocolate note. The palate is full bodied with depth of black fruits that tend more to plum, tannins are rounded and soft with oak taking over on the mid palate with a cherry note. The finish has fruit and good length but oak dominates. The wine will continue to develop over the medium term.
