Review Detail
2005 Eastern Peake Walsh Block Syrah
Wine Rating
94
A slightly browning red in colour, the nose has toasty oak, earth and dark berry fruit with a hint of soy character.
The palate is a complex and brooding expression of Shiraz fruit that is laden with spices and enhanced by gamey / leather nuances, the wine has rounded tannins and very good length to finish.
