Review Detail
2004 Nicholson River Syrah
Wine Rating
94
Browning red in colour, giving you an immediate view as to how this wine was made, plenty of air contact and post ferment maceration.
The nose has olive laced dark fruits and grainy cedary oak, the wine on entry is incredibly soft with blackberry fruit with tannins and peppery spice gaining momentum as they move across the palate.
The wine has great length of leathery fruit and spice to finish
