2008 O'Leary Walker Shiraz

Wine Rating

95
The fruit for this wine was sourced from both Clare Valley and McLaren Vale, bringing together the cool climate savoury edge from the Clare and depth of fruit from McLaren.

Impenetrable red in colour, the nose has deep plum with cedar spices that are softly backed by mint.

The palate has wonderful balance of super concentrated plum and dark cherry, the fine, firm tannins and youthful acidity provide excellent structure to the quality fruit.

Diligent use of oak adds richness and class with the wine finishing with flashes of mint and tightly bound dark fruits.
