2006 Baileys of Glenrowan Shiraz
(Updated: June 25, 2012)
Wine Rating

Deep red in colour, the nose is centered around toasted cedary oak, with dense plum and blackberry aromas giving way way to the slightest touch of hickory smoke.

The palate begins with very ripe plum and blackberry fruit that becomes more mineral and herbal, it is this mineral aspect that combines with racy acidity to balance the ripe palate. The finish has slightly raisin fruit and grainy tannins.
