Review Detail
2007 Cooper Burns Syrah
Wine Rating
92
Very deep red in colur , the nose has a funky, earthen plum character that is warm and inviting but not for the faint hearted.
The palate has smokey plum fruit with layers of spices and a mouthfeel that builds over time.
The tannins are soft, yet drying and give an excellent textural feel that contrasts the concentrated fruit , the finish lingers with a balance between savoury and ripe dark fruits.
