Review Detail
2008 Dalwhinnie South West Rocks Shiraz
(Updated: May 01, 2011)
Wine Rating
97
Dark fruits and vanillian oak evident on the nose, blackberry runs through the palate with dashes of cinnamon, and elegant oak influences. There is exceptionally fine grained but persistant tannins that give the wine a wonderful structure. This structure will ensure the longevity and continued appeal of the wine even when the primary fruit influences start to fade.
