Review Detail
2010 Tuck's Ridge Shiraz
Wine Rating
90
A vibrant red in colour, with good clarity in the glass.
The nose is tightly bound with dark plum, graphite, sandalwood and an ever so slight oak input that gives a richness that is otherwise void on the nose.
The palate has powdery tannins, taught mineral acidity with blackcurrant and plum fruit dominant with a hint of kirsh, cocoa and cool climate white pepper to finish.
This wine will continue to improve over time, as it slowly unfurls.
