2005 Medhurst Shiraz
Wine Rating

89
This wine was tasted at cellar door as part of a regular museum wine offering. It was a good opportunity to try some aged Yarra Valley shiraz that was cellared at the source.

The wine shows a deep red that is slightly browning towards the rim and the nose showing leathery plum and olive with a touch of funk that adds interest.

The palate is fully mature with brambly blackberry and plum fruit that is supported by drying spice and leather to finish.

A drink now proposition.
