Review Detail
2010 Michael Hall Flaxman's Valley Syrah
Wine Rating
95
Bottled under cork the wine is still a vibrant red to purple in the glass despite being 5 years post vintage, the nose is an impressive cacophony of ripe blue fruits and seductive oak.
A plush and full mouthfeel with a enough of a mineral core to ensure texture and structure. The tannins are fully resolved and supple with wild strawberry and raspberry benefiting from white pepper and attractive spice to finish.
