Review Detail
2015 Churchview Estate Range Shiraz
Wine Rating
86
An attractive nose that showcases the use of both American and French oak, the American adds generosity and richness to dark berry fruits, charcuterie and some confectionary notes that start to dominate with time in the glass. The palate doesn’t deliver on the promise of the nose with an underripe character that is hard going against grainy tannins and dry dark fruits.
Best enjoyed over the shorter term.
