Review Detail

This is a wine that certainly shows its cool climate roots on the nose with herbaceous, peppery dark plum and blackberry.

The palate starts with a wave of dark fruits, but as that wave subsides there is pepper, graphite and bitter dark chocolate with a touch of bitumen that adds dimension. There is plenty of grip and drive of dark berry fruits to finish with black plum lingering.

I’d expect this to cellar well and continue to soften over time.
