Review Detail

2013 Byron & Harold Wandering Lane Shiraz
Wine Rating

92
The nose is an opulent mix of blackberry and plum fruit that’s backed by sweet spice and a touch of graphite that pulls it back into line.

A medium bodied wine with great structure, drying dark berry fruits bear a savoury edge and are centre stage. Tannins are finely textured and joined by cranberry fruit and a generous dusting of spice to finish.

Drinking well now, but will easily live for another decade.
