A year that produced a measly 1.45 tonne of fruit, needless to say there won’t be too much of this available !

The wine is relatively low in alcohol, but high in concentration which is a hallmark of the low yielding vintage. The nose enjoys generous oak inputs to plum fruit with a raisin edge that still retains some of the floral aromatics of previous vintages. There is a milk chocolate undercurrent to the palate, however the fruit is somewhat drying and doesn't have the suppleness that is the hallmark of recent vintages. The finish is dominated by attractive oak, but doesn’t have the fruit to match.
