Sourced from a single block In the Tinklers Vineyard that was originally part of the Lindemans Ben Ean plantings. The wine showcases the quality of the 2014 Hunter vintage and wil live for decades.
The nose opens with fresh earth, blackberry and rhubarb with a touch of cedar and tar. A medium bodied with a sullen and savoury core of well defined blackberry fruit supported by fine drying tannin. There is oak induced spice that counteracts the wines drying nature. The finish has mouth filling dark fruits to finish with fresh coffee grinds.
