Review Detail
2015 Fox in the Hen House Shiraz
Wine Rating
86
A fun label design that is sure to grab attention on the supermarket shelves, the wine destined for the US Market to showcase entry level Barossa Shiraz.
A glossy dark red in the glass with a sappy almost molasses like notes on the nose that is backed by plum and blackberry fruits. The palate is sweetly fruited with mouth filling plum set against grainy tannins and cedar spice, the length to finish is good and has some liquorice notes without reaching any great heights.
