Review Detail
2015 Omrah Crossing Shiraz
Wine Rating
86
A dusty nose with some reductive notes to plum and mulberry fruit, oak gives some cedar characters; there is also a touch of alcohol warmth.
Medium to full bodied with good balance in terms of texture initially with savoury edged dark fruits defining the wine. The finish has some acidity that pokes through and when combined with drying tannins pushes things a little bit to far. Aside from the acidity there is some meaty dark cherry fruits to finish that give some good enjoyment.
