Review Detail
2017 Gundog Estate Indomitus Rutilus
Wine Rating
95
Shiraz from Canberra district that has plenty of flare with stem, spice and leather thats etched with black cherry and enjoys top notes of pepper and sweet stem.
The wine is elegantly medium bodied with a tightly bound array of dark berry fruit that are lifted by white pepper and a lick of sweeter French oak. There is a coffeed, almost leather note that melds with a continuation of dark berry fruits to close.
A wine to contemplate over time and watch unravel.
