Review Detail
2017 Hobbs Vintners Tin Lids Shiraz
Wine Rating
89
The nose meets you with ripe black berry fruits and a sweetness of oak. A decadent palate that has a plushness of oak and some pretty serious fruit that is ripe, but maintains it’s varietal appeal. The tannins that support the wine bring an earthen and almost leathery note to the wine, waves of spice and milk chocolate take over on the mid to back palate with the finish is kept in balance by bitter cocoa and breadth of plum fruit.
