2013 Huntington Estate Fortified Shiraz
Wine Rating

93
Maintains a youthful almost purple hue to the rim, the nose shows rich plum and strawberry fruit that’s lifted by a gentle sweetness of spirit. The palate is lush, but balanced and carries it’s 20% alcohol and holds it’s structure, the mid palate shows a plushness of fruit and the finish has spice and dried fruit notes (think plum and fig). What is most enjoyable is the vibrancy of acidity to finish giving both great length and a moreish nature to the wine.
