Review Detail

A medium red hue with good clarity; the nose has crunchy red berry fruits and plenty of oak. The oak being generous is an understatement to say the least, it is spicy and rich but doesn’t give the fruit the opportunity to show itself and on the finish does give a slight sweet / sour note. A wine that will have a number of admirers at the entry price on account of the oak.
