Review Detail

A dense dark purple in the glass, the nose has depth of blackberry and plum fruits that are lifted by graphite and dry spice. The palate shows a wine with big oak, but there is quality to it and there is ample fruit to support it, with mocha and vanillin tones integrated well with the fruit. The finish is drying with tannins making themselves known, but still wrapped in a sheath of fruit and oak richness with some pepper and graphite for good measure.
