The wine is a medium red in the glass with a nose that showcases the impact of vineyard site and also winemaker. It is the fruit that shines through with plum and blackberry however time on skins have given a tobacco and earthen edge. The wine revolves around the expansive but soft layers of tannin that take on ripe dark berry fruits interwoven with oak induced spice and undergrowth. The length is more about texture and the harmony between fruit, oak and winemaker than anything else.
