A large percentage of whole berries went into the ferment with a cold soak before the ferment started naturally. The use of whole berries has given rise to the wonderfully floral aromatics through carbonic maceration and retention of aroma that comes from the juice fermenting inside the berry.
The nose gives cherry hubba bubba and strawberry that has sweetened liquorice strap.

The wine coats your mouth and is vibrant but has depth; strawberry rings true with a faint cherry cola aspect to the mid palate. Tannins are supple but present with driving red berry fruits framing the finish.

This is an incredibly moreish wine and the decisions made in the winery are what make it. At times nouveau wines can be clumsy and brash, this has generosity and interest. Drink whilst young to avoid disappointment.
