Review Detail
2018 Castle Rock Great Southern Shiraz
Wine Rating
93
A glossy deep red in the glass, the nose has ripe plum and mulberry fruit with overtones of milk chocolate and cedar like spice.
The palate shows a medium to full bodied wine that is generous in its disposition, yet textured and balanced when it comes to impact of fine tannin and well handled acidity. The finish has spice and drive of black fruits with pepper and earth a final embellishment.
