Review Detail
2019 Steve Wiblin's Erin Eyes Blarney Stone Shiraz
Wine Rating
93
A vibrant wine that plays on its ample primary fruit, generous spice and subtle build of texture. The nose gives sweet plum and blueberry fruit, with rose petals. The palate sees moreish dark cherry and plum surrounded by glossy new French oak richness. Tannins are fine and savoury, giving contrast to the mid palate and helping to frame the long finish that sees fruit wrapped in a gentle sheath of spice.
