Earth, plum and dark cherry that has soaked up the new oak, leaving a subtle suggestion of spice. The palate has textural black fruits with tauter lines of red cherry and spice giving a focal point. A dusting of cocoa is layered on top of the fruit. The finish is long and fruit driven with a savoury and baking spice twist. A long cellaring life ahead.
