Review Detail
2017 The Farm Barossa Shiraz
Wine Rating
93
Tightly bound plum and dark cherry with roasted meats and bramble on the nose. There is a savoury core of black fruits that enjoy a tannin profile of bitter dark chocolate, the mid palate opens up to more plum and plusher oak derived spice. The length sees drying dark cherry and plum with lingering spice faint earth. There is a touch of Grenache added to the blend but it folds in effortlessly, no doubt providing some of the dark cherry and lifted spice.
