Review Detail
2018 Bethany GR Shiraz
Wine Rating
97
A glossy purple with generous plum and layers of sweet vanillin oak, savoury earthen tones are in the background.
A glossy, decadent wine but with structure and intent, a new wave example of seductive and moreish Barossa, there is a mineral like character to the wine that when combined with fine drying tannins gives both balance and drive. Fruit tends to spiced dark cherry to finish.
The length is exceptional.
