2008 Elan Vineyard Shiraz
Wine Rating
91
A youthful red to purple in the glass, cool climate plum and pepper on the nose, the palate is excellently balanced with blackberry and plum fruit melding with white pepper and firm tannin structure. Oak integration is well handled and provides additional complexity towards the finish. Tannin and acid structure suggests the wine will reward medium term cellaring.
