2006 Blue Range Shiraz
Wine Rating
89
A wine labeled as a Shiraz, which has the elements one would usually equate with a 'Syrah''. The fruit is clearly cool climate with plum, pepper and tomato leaf on the nose. The palate has blackberry throughout, however there is tobacco, and almost ash tray like influences as the wine weaves it's way to the finish. A polarizing wine that won't be everyone's cup of tea.
