2008 Petaluma Shiraz
Wine Rating
94
A deep, brooding red in the glass , the nose has plum, aniseed and rich high quality oak. The palate has layers of flavor with plum and blackberry providing the perfect contrast to the savoury oak and cinnamon characters in the mid to back palate. The tannins are persistent and fine without being firm. An excellent wine that will drink well over the medium term.
