Shiraz March 10, 2011
2008 Peter Lehmann Mudflat Shiraz
Wine Rating

91
Dark purple in colour, the nose is appealing with rich raspberry and plum. The palate has smokey plum fruit, cedar characters from well integrated oak, and lighter red fruits in the mid palate. The finish shows dusty drying tannins. The wine exhibits good textural elements in terms of youthful fruit and mouth drying tannin structure. The wine finishes with good length and lasting oak influences.
