Deep red in colour, the nose literally leaps out of the glass with plum, cedar and liqueur sweetness. The palate has ripe plum that is complemented by cinnamon spice and rich warm oak influences. The tannins are drying and reign in some of the primary fruit characters on the palate. The wine is good, but a little uncomplicated, it needs time to develop some more interesting secondary characters. Those who enjoy an in your face, fruit driven Barossa wine will love this !
