Deep red in colour, the wine showed rich vanillian oak on the nose that combined well with dark cherry and spice. The palate shows a peacock tail of flavour with plum and cherry fruit building in weight and mouth feel from front to back palate, eventually reaching a crescendo of well defined fruit, fine grained but firm tannins and subtle spice. The wine has exceptional length.
