2005 Peregrine Ridge French Oak Shiraz
Wine Rating

94
Developed red in colour the nose has rich cedar and cinnamon. The palate somehow finds a way to be concentrated, rich and subtle at the same time. The fruit is ripe and mouth filling, especially the plum and blackberry, this is contrasted by a balanced acid structure and fine but firm tannins. The oak is evident throughout the wine and adds additional complexity and a luxurious feel of high quality oak on the finish. The wine will certainly cellar well.
