Dull brown in colour, the nose has mushroom and forrest floor. The palate is drying and has leathery, earthy notes with no real fruit to speak off, the tannins are fine and the acidity still holding. The palate is one dimensional, but an enjoyable experience considering the wine is over 30 years old. A testament to hunter valley longevity.
