2008 Sanguine Estate Shiraz
Wine Rating
94
Deep red to purple in colour, the nose jumps out of the glass with ripe blackberry and spicy vanillin oak.The palate is meaty and saturated with plum, blackberry and cedary oak, the tannins are fine but firm and along with the dark fruits coat the mouth, the wine finishes with a distinct and enjoyable warmness.
The oak influences are rich and seductive, enticing you to go back for more, the wine will cellar well and continue to evolve over the next decade.
